| Each year, Region 11 recognizes an eighth grade player from each 7/8 grade team who best demonstrates the values of teamwork, good sportsmanship, effort, respect, responsibility, and Christian attitude. They are examples of the CYO principles, and their actions and attitudes reflect positively on themselves, their families, their parishes, and the Catholic Youth Organization. Each nominated player will be awarded a Region 11 Sportsmanship Award medal. From this select group of players, the region will award the Region 11 Sportsmanship Award plaque. Each Varsity coach should nominate one (1) eighth grade student-athlete for this award. The awards will be presented between the Varsity Parish and Varsity Region All Star games, and we encourage all winners to attend the ceremony to be recognized for their achievement. | ||||||||
